Who Are We?

WESTCOAST Sightseeing are the new and proud owners of Dinner in the Sky Canada! This unique and breathtaking dining experience will showcase Vancouver’s spectacular ocean, mountain and city vistas while being elevated 100 feet off the ground.

“Dinner in the Sky” serves 22 guests with four staff including the chef and one designated safety lead. Guests can enjoy a 360-degree view with secure, comfortable rotating and reclining seating. The popular venue will offer brunch, lunch, dinner, as well as themed special events, weddings and other private celebrations.

Safety

Dinner in the Sky® is a product developed by Events in the Sky according to two key words: Exclusivity and Safety. We want to provide our clients with the most exclusive experiences ever dreamt of in a completely safe way. All our concepts are designed accordingly to the German norm DIN 4112. Products are built in Belgium under the control of Rheinland TÜV.

This obsession for safety is probably one of the reasons why Dinner in the Sky® is now operated in more than 40 countries and got the official authorizations from the toughest countries such as US, Canada, Australia, South-Africa etc. Dinner in the Sky was launched in 2006 and has been operating for over 10 years, during which not one incident has happened.

Alcohol Consumption + Attending Minors

Legal age to consume alcohol in British Columbia is 19 years old. Identification will be required at the time to check in.
No alcohol will be served to minors – Please bring valid government ID
We will not accept any individuals that appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. No refunds provided.

An adult must accompany guest who is under age of 18 years old. Unaccompanied children will not be permitted to participate

Additional purchase of alcohol is available at the venue. *Please note that for addition alcohol purchases onsite, we will only accept Credit and Debit. For those guests wanting to open a bar tab, our staff will need to retain your credit card until the end of the experience.

Wheelchair Access

We cannot accommodate wheelchairs on the lift. All users must be able to walk to and from the lift.

Height and Weight Requirements

Minimum height of the guest must be at least 1.50 m 4’9 ft

Maximum weight allowed per person is 150 kilograms or 330 pounds
We reserve the right to weigh all guests participating in any Dinner in the Sky Experience at the venue to ensure safe weight distribution. This may result in certain groups not being able to sit together but we will try our utmost to accommodate.

What if I am late to the venue?

Late arrivals or not showing are also 100% non-refundable. Guests must arrive 45 minutes in advance to prepare for the lift. For the experience of our other guests, we will not delay or bring the lift back to the ground for guests who arrive late.

What if I need the restroom

Dinner in the Sky has been hosted thousands of times and this question comes up a lot, washroom facilities will be provided on the ground and we recommend that you go before getting on the platform.

Driving:
- Drive along West Georgia Street towards Stanley Park.
- Cross the Lion's Gate Bridge and into North Vancouver
- Exit onto Marine Drive (left) BC-99N
- Turn left onto 13th st.
- 13th St turns left and becomes Argyle Ave and follow the road to Dinner in the Sky!
- Free public parking 

Taxi and private car services are also available.

Note: Arrival at Dinner in the Sky is recommended 45 minutes prior to lift time.

What to bring

Weather appropriate clothing and wear shoes that fasten securely to your feet.

Please remember that the wind at the height of 50 m is slightly stronger, temperatures can be slightly lower

Please take your phones, photo and video cameras along to shoot the breathtaking moments of your dining experience in the sky

Weather

Lifts will be made and meals served during rainy weather conditions

Lifts will be delayed or canceled in case of wind stronger than 15 m/s and/or thunderstorm

Lifts can be canceled or delayed shortly before your scheduled lift time due to weather conditions

Group Size

Maximum group size for one lift is 22 persons

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation within 48 hours of the dining experience is 100% non-refundable.  Late arrivals or not showing are also 100% non-refundable.  Guests must arrive 45 minutes in advance to prepare for the lift. For the experience of our other guests, we will not delay or bring the lift back to the ground for guests who arrive late. We will not accept any individuals that appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. No refunds provided.

Do I need to sign a waiver?

Yes! A signed waiver is required for all experiences. A link to the waiver will be sent with the booking confirmation and must be signed prior to your experience.

Is there a minimum number of people to operate an experience?

Dinner in the Sky does require a minimum number of passengers to operate any experience. But don't worry! In the event of a unexpected cancellation, your reservation is guaranteed and will either be accommodated at a different time or day of your choosing.
